Nordrach Cottage - guest bookings

Nordrach Cottage

Nordrach Cottage is available for use by Guest Groups at very reasonable rates. You do not have to be a caver or a caving club to use the cottage!

Bookings can be made per bed for individuals and groups of up to 24. We will sometimes take bookings for more than 24, up to 30 (especially mid-week)

To check for weekend Cottage Bookings that have already been accepted click here or scroll down this page

To make a booking or to check mid-week availability, please use our contact form.

On the first Fri/Sat/Sun of each month, and on the AGM weekend, priority is given to MCG Members when the largest guest group booking allowed is normally 6. At all other times, we can accommodate 24 and sometimes up to 30. However, it is currently not possible to book the entire cottage for exclusive use, as MCG members may access the cottage without notice, for example to use the Tacklestore or Library.

Prices

Guests fees are only £5.00 per night. This price includes fuel for stove, background storage heating, use of gas/electricity, showers etc. There are no additional charges. Prices are kept low because Members and Guests help to maintain the Cottage. We do not employ cleaners! All users are asked to leave the cottage as they expect to find it.

Although we provide kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery, we do not supply bedding - bring your own sleeping bags and pillows, as well as towels. Please note that there is no drying room at the cottage. Please read the cottage guidelines leaflet for further details
