Click image or here to see photos of Upper Flood Swallet pinned to the survey (survey courtesy of Ben Cooper, Google maps courtesy of Bill Chadwick). Normal left mouse drag to pan, double left click to zoom in, double right click to zoom out or mousewheel zoom. There is a panel at the top right that displays the mouse-coords in ST grid square metres. As you mouse-over a green photo marker, a small copy of the photo appears at the top left of the page. If you click a green marker you get a pop-up with a bigger copy of the picture and a link to the full size original.
|
To add a photo (which must already be online somewhere), click on the map - a red marker appears. Next select the camera direction (controls the green marker's shape), enter the photo's URL, a title and a credit for the photographer - then press Add (you will get a thankyou page from Google which you should close). If you refresh the main page, your newly pinned photo should appear for all to see. Currently there is no way to edit or remove existing 'pinnings' from the page. If you mess up and want a photo removed, contact MCG. I reserve the right to remove any inappropriate pinnings! Bill C |
