Welcome to Nordrach Cottage
Nordrach Cottage is situated at the top of the Mendip Hills, approximately one mile from Charterhouse-on-Mendip and is thus in an ideal location for accessing all the major Mendip caving areas. The cottage offers a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay for members and guests.
Lounge
A cosy space with comfortable chairs, a log burner, and an extensive library of caving books and journals.
Kitchen
Well equipped with two large gas cookers, fridge, a freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots, and pans.
Sleeping
Three bunk rooms with alpine-style bunks provide 30 beds. Bunks have mattresses. Bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.
Washrooms
Modern facilities including hot showers, toilets, and wash basins to freshen up after a day underground or outdoors.
Drying Room
A dedicated drying room with a powerful dehumidifier to ensure your gear is dry and ready for the next day’s adventure.
Outside Areas
Ample car parking, grassy areas for camping or lounging, plus a BBQ area and fire pit for social evenings.
